  • Sean Lane

    Sean Lane

    Raised in a military family, Sean Lane comes from an art-intensive
    background spanning two continents. Experiencing life from multiple
    cultural and philosophical perspectives has influenced his artistic career.

    Sean has an avid passion for music with twenty-two years of
    performance and a background in music theory. His focus has been the bass,
    but he has also explored guitar, drums, piano and cello. He has been
    producing live audio for several years and has experience in ProTools,
    Reason, Cubase, FLStudio, and Nuendo.

    Proficient in Adobe Photoshop for the past 16 years, Sean branched
    into photography in 2008. High fashion, runway, portraiture and event
    photography are his strengths. During his tenure as a photographer, he’s had
    the pleasure of working with clients such as Cheap Trick, Label,
    Professional Haircare, and PRMatch.com.

  • The Wave Game

    The Wave Game

    This was a complete production. We were responsible for composition, lyric creation, and album art.

    The CD was mixed and mastered at DNA Studios. Scott Lamps and Vaughn Freitag were the audio engineers and Mark Whitcomb mastered the CD.

    Theories of Tension

    This project was a complete production. We were responsible for sound engineering and mixing. We also consulted with the band for several hours on the layout of the project. The band was responsible for composing and playing their parts. Most guitar amps were mounted with microphones with three to five microphones. Some guitars had a, unique guitar-string, microphone setup to emphasize the chords in their progression.

    Track three “Spheres” was done completely live and the third take was used. Third party background noise was used from a creative commons library for onset. The piano was recorded on location at the Greenwald household. All drums, except “Spheres” was recorded in Middleton residential basement called Acker Studios. Difficulty was found with track four with file corruption and bad data sectors on the hard drive. An important lesson: always allocate at least 15gb of your HD as temp system cache space.

    The weather was recorded on location at the Brown household in Madison. Using nothing more than the Blue Bird and MXL condenser microphones, a stereo sound effect was made. The art was chosen by the Roulette Notations’ Band Management. It was a work-for-hire oil painting from overseas.

  • Radish

    Radish

    Radish is up and coming Disk Jockey who plays in Madison, Wi regularly but has expressed interest in traveling and performing once again. He first began to make noise in 2010 and was introduced to performer ‘F.Stokes.’ After a tour overseas Radish spends most of his days creating music, and collaborating with other local artists. He is known for his shows in Madison’s Annual Freakfest Halloween Event. The Natt Spil, the Cardinal, the Majestic, and local house shows.
